Escrito en la Espa\u00f1a del siglo XIX, este texto destaca por esp\u00edritu vanguardista, de ah\u00ed su actualidad.Concepci\u00f3n Arenal dedic\u00f3 parte de su vida a la reivindicaci\u00f3n de situaciones marginales, como por ejemplo el papel que ten\u00eda la mujer en la sociedad del siglo XIX. En esta obra la autora trata punto por punto, la inferioridad en la que vive la mujer, analiza la marginalidad que sufre, y aporta medidas y soluciones para acabar con dicha situaci\u00f3n, mejorando por ejemplo su educaci\u00f3n. Tratado que, por una parte, nos ayuda a entender la situaci\u00f3n de la mujer hace m\u00e1s de un siglo, por otra nos da herramientas para analizar con detalle las mejoras conseguidas en los \u00faltimos tiempos y permite establecer futuras reivindicaciones. La educaci\u00f3n en la mujer: Al final de su vida Concepci\u00f3n Arenal escribe este tratado donde defiende los beneficios que tendr\u00e1 para la sociedad activar y mejorar la educaci\u00f3n que recibe la mujer, en esos momentos tan distinta a la del hombre.
