Febrero de 1950. Juan Kosic -ahora consagrado y famoso bandoneonista- regresa a su lugar natal quince a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s de haberlo abandonado. Lo acompa\u00f1an su esposa y su peque\u00f1a hija. Para Juan Kosic el ansiado regreso s\u00f3lo tiene un fin: demostrarle a su madre que triunf\u00f3 gracias a la profesi\u00f3n que ella le hab\u00eda negado y que un d\u00eda forz\u00f3 la separaci\u00f3n.
