Convertido en un cl\u00e1sico con el tiempo, el libro toma de Kafka y del c\u00f3mic americano, de la ciencia ficci\u00f3n y del realismo m\u00e1s formal para construir un relato muy humano, a la vez divertido y apocal\u00edptico. Alasdair Gray sigue el rastro del protagonista en el mundo que conocemos y unos cuantos m\u00e1s (no en orden cronol\u00f3gico, por cierto), una prolongada penitencia moral que le permite proyectar una alegor\u00eda gigantesca de nuestra sociedad.
