En Sobre Camar\u00f3n, Carlos Lencero, m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la biograf\u00eda rendida, se aproxima a su figura desde una perspectiva muy personal, procurando comprender el alma del artista. Su viaje particular a la figura de Camar\u00f3n se detiene en los d\u00edas de grabaci\u00f3n de La leyenda del tiempo, un \u00e1lbum cuya trascendencia musical no fue entendida por los seguidores del cantaor en un primer momento. Sin embargo, el tiempo ha convertido la obra en la grabaci\u00f3n m\u00e1s emblem\u00e1tica de Camar\u00f3n y la que abre, en muchos sentidos, el arranque del flamenco del siglo XXI. Lencero busca los testimonios de amigos que lo conocieron bien: Javier Fern\u00e1ndez Molina, Ricardo Pach\u00f3n, etc. y revisa la discograf\u00eda para encontrar las que, a su juicio, son las mejores interpretaciones del cantaor.
