Por otra parte, toma ese silencio ancestral de muchas mujeres ante la figura del patriarca, llev\u00e1ndolo hasta fatales consecuencias. Record\u00e9 al seguir los pasos de la protagonista, la novela de Mariana Marianni, La larga vida de Mar\u00eda Ucr\u00eda , donde la hero\u00edna es sordomuda. \u201cLa palabra es una manera de hacerse justicia, porque el mundo nos est\u00e1 malinterpretando\u201d, coment\u00f3 al respecto Germ\u00e1n Dehesa, al explicar esta novela, y se convirti\u00f3 en una de las frases m\u00e1s importantes en mi devoci\u00f3n por la palabra escrita. Andrea Sol, al igual que Mar\u00eda Ucr\u00eda, emprende un doloroso y necio medio de expresi\u00f3n, que hable por sus silencios.
