A solas con sus pasiones, dominadas o dominadoras, este grupo de personajes crea por s\u00ed solo una de las mejores obras que ha producido la novel\u00edstica actual de Norteam\u00e9rica. Louis Bromfield autor ya inolvidable entre nosotros, maneja con su habitual maestr\u00eda los hilos de la m\u00faltiple intriga encerrada en Veinticuatro horas. Cada personaje es un hombre o una mujer arrancados de la realidad viva y diaria. Nada de ellos ha sido falseado con el pretexto de crear en el lector un clima de inter\u00e9s.
